PowerPoint Presentations
Graffiti and Street-Art are increasingly regarded, in many quarters, as a welcomed and vital wave of artistic expression. It is also considered by many city administrations world-wide, as a desirable form of beautification of the urban scape.
My 45-minute PowerPoint slideshow and talk that focuses on Montreal’s Street art has great eye appeal, is wonderfully entertaining and is above all informative. The show includes more than 200 images drawn from my extensive portfolio. I accompany these photographs with detailed commentary that addresses the origin and evolution of street art and elaborates on the varied characteristics of this popular art form. Everything you wanted to know about this ubiquitous art form but did not know what or who to ask.
The shows are available in English, French or a combination of the two and include a question-and-answer session and discussion. The subject has wide appeal and I have presented at public libraries, schools, and community and cultural organizations both on site and, during the pandemic, on the Zoom platform. These slide shows have engaged audiences at many venues including the Atwater Library, the Côte Saint-Luc Men's Club, the Liberal Arts College of Concordia University, the Côte Saint-Luc Library, La Bibliothèque de Pointe-aux-Trembles, the Women's Canadian Club of Montreal, The Dollard-des-Ormeaux Library, The Town of Mount Royal Library,
and the Pierrefonds Library.

Thank you again for the splendid presentation you delivered . . . describing Montreal's Street Art Gallery . . .Your research into Montreal's unique artistic works and graffiti is impressive and the explanations and observations you made during the presentation were exemplary. Through your lecture, you showed how vibrant and topical street art can be, and how available it is to all citizens."
Graham, Guelph Summer Lecture Club
“Fineberg explored the city of Montreal end to end for his book, which documents the ephemeral art that decorates the sides of our buildings, crumbling walls and overpasses.”
